Are there specific requirements concerning luggage?

Each passenger is restricted to bring one piece of hand luggage (maximum dimensions 60x50x40 cm up to 12kg) in the public areas.

Foot Passengers are restricted to bring at maximum 2 pieces of extra luggage up to 20kg. This luggage will be checked-in on the day sailings, unless there is a cabin booked. If you have booked a cabin then the luggage has to be put in the cabin.

Car Passengers must leave other luggage in their vehicle. The car decks are closed during the crossing.

Stena Line is entitled to request a surcharge for extra baggage.

What can I bring in my luggage?
When travelling between the United Kingdom and the EU there are restrictions on what you can take with you. Think of vegetables, fruit, plants and plant based products, animals and animal based products, moving stuff, art and cultural goods.
