Stena Line Brexit Customer Advisory Note

Stena Line does not expect any severe disruptions to its ferry services, however, due to the unique nature of the Brexit issue, Stena Line has identified a number of points which it recommends passengers familiarise themselves with.

The Q&A is based on latest government advice which may be subject to change.

Will I still be able to take my pet on holiday with me after Brexit?

Yes. You will still be able to travel with your pet (dog, cat or ferret) between the United Kingdom and the EU whether a deal is reached or not. However, in a no-deal scenario, you may need to take some additional steps depending on how the United Kingdom is categorised. Importantly, you may need to visit a vet some months in advance of travel, for certification and relevant vaccines. More information can be found on the Government's pages about Pet travel to Europe after Brexit.
