Planning to pay with your credit card?

Stena Line increases the security in the handling of credit card transactions. Stena Line will adopt obligatory regulations set by the credit card companies for the handling of card transactions. By doing this, your credit card data will be more secured against fraud. As a consequence, new credit card readers will be installed on all ferries and sales points in the ports during the next couple of months. The card readers will preferably be able to read the chips on the cards and you will be asked to enter your pin code when paying. The possibility to sign the card receipts will only be possible in very few cases.

Luggage

On deck 7 close to the gangway you will both find a public luggage area as well as luggage lockers. The luggage area is accessible at departure and arrival of the ship.

Facilities for passengers with special needs

All facilities are located on deck 7 and accessible with elevator. Passengers in wheelchairs have access to all facilities. Please inform our staff at car check in so they can tend to your needs and assign a parking space on the car deck close to the elevator.

Pets

On deck 7 we have special kennels for your pets. You can choose to keep your dog inside your car or take it to the deck. Please report this at car check in. Keep in mind that you have no access to your car during the crossing: the car deck is closed.

In light of the increase in temperature pets are not allowed to stay inside your car on the car deck from June till August.
When your dog remains inside your car during the crossing there are no additional charges for pet travel. Otherwise, the costs are € 5.00 per pet, per single crossing. There is limited availability.
You are required to report 45 minutes prior to departure. The pet owner is solely responsible for its well-being during the crossing and the required documentation. For regulations and customs in Sweden we advise you to consult your veterinarian.
