Loch Ryan Port, Cairnryan is located in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland and from here you have a choice of up to 6 daily sailings to Belfast. The port is approximately 1 hour’s drive to Ayr, 2 hours to Glasgow and 3 hours to Edinburgh. Cairnryan is a small village with a shop and a couple of B&B’s. However the port is also located a short distance from the Town of Stranraer (approx. 8 miles / 10 minutes away). Stranraer offers a number of hotels, guest houses, B&B’s plus shops, cafes, restaurants and petrol stations.
